Parrot's Perch, Great Exuma, November 10, 1996
Nekton Pilot, Bahamas
Dive # 121-123. Nikon V camera, Ikelite housing, double Ikelite Ai strobes, 35-70mm zoom lens, Provia 100 slide film, dive buddies Charles, John, and Jeff. I long ago combined all of the slides from this day’s three dives. This was a truly memorable day of diving as Lori and I came upon a sea turtle that was wedged into the reef and couldn’t get our. This is shown in the slides. Lori freed the turtle and we watched it for a while. We saw an orange nudibranch, a ray, a hermit crab out, a goat fish, an orange tipped anemone, cleaner shrimp, a cowfish, a trigger fish, and an eel. We found an abandoned anchor and chain covered with coral. A most enjoyable day. 41ft, 45min. 48ft, 43min. 51ft, 52min night dive. /hughClick a photo to view or click first photo to see a slide show.
