The Strip, Bimini, Night Dive, June 14, 1996
Bimini, Bahamas, Nekton Pilot
Dive # 117, Nikon N70 in Ikelite housing with two Ikelite Ai strobes, 20mm 2.8D lens, using Fujichrome Velvia 50 slide film, dive buddies Trey and Lori. We have enjoyed night dives on the wreck of the Hesperus for years and seem to see more large turtles there than any dive site anywhere. We were glad to get to share this site with Trey. We saw a goat fish, turtles, fire coral, extended coral polyps, rays, and an arrow crab. We might have seen a nurse shark that warm night also. 42ft, 45min. /hughClick a photo to view or click first photo to see a slide show.
