Dive # 95 & 97, Nikonos V, 35mm without strobe, Fujichrome Sensia 200 slide film, dive buddies Herb Seegers and Lori. We always love the one shark dive the Nekton Pilot hosts each cruise. A line with a float is 50 meters from the boat. Someone goes to the line in a Zodiac and places chum (fish parts) and pours fish blood after all of the divers have formed a ring around the anchor of the line. The dive masters have barbed poles to fend off any sharks that come too close. We were visited today by the only hammerhead to ever come to one of our shark dives. /hugh
