Susan's Story, Our Indian Ocean Sands & Safaris Adventure

At Richards Bay, South Africa our ship, the Nautica, was docked at the busy harbor 10km from the town. We would travel by bus 1.5hrs to Hluhluwe Game Reserve and saw huge factories, railroad yards, two aluminum smelters, pineapple farms, eucalyptus forests, and tribal areas. It was hot in the South African summer. A highly-developed area. Several of the wetlands and estuaries had crocodile and/or hippopotamus warning signs. /susan
