Up early and after an uneventful drive we arrived at the Embassy Suites on the River Walk. We had time for a cool walk along the river and a first visit to the Alamo before we enjoyed cocktails and a lovely Mexican dinner. After dinner we took a boat ride before retiring. The next day was busy as we visited La Villita historic Arts Village, the Alamo, King William Historic district, the Spanish Governor’s mansion, and old town. We ended our visit with a wonderful dinner riverside. /susan
