Big Laurel Creek, April 12, 2013

During the Keelhauler Canoe Club's annual Southern Rivers trip I was able to meet up with Joe Marksz, Mike Duvall, & Jeff Clary following a night of heavy rain for a run down Big Laurel Creek at +1.2ft and then down the second half of the French Broad Section IX at 10,300 cfs. These were quite a handful at these high levels but made for a great afternoon run following our run on Spring Creek. Great run guys!!! /hugh
