Susan's Story, Our Indochina Adventure
We flew from Saigon which is a modern vibrant prosperous city to the dark crowded dirty capital of Viet Nam, Hanoi. Here we visited Halong Bay, the Ethnology Museum, the Hanoi Hilton prison, the Temple of Literature, a lacquer factory, and the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum. We saw the presidential palace & then went to see the servants houses where Uncle Ho insisted on living instead. His body is preserved & displayed by the same doctors that keep Lenin's body on display. It was nice to get back to Saigon! /susanClick a photo to view or click first photo to see a slide show.
