Cambodia & the Mekong, March 2012
Susan's Story, Our Indochina Adventure
We drove from Siem Reap near Ankor Wat and Lake Tonle Sap to Kampong Cham to board the MS Saigon Pandaw. We visited towns and temples along the Mekong and continued on the Mekong in Viet Nam. We visited stone carvers, a rubber plantation, a fish farm, the Choeungkok community, the killing fields of Phnom Pros, Phnom Penh with its killing fields and infamous S-21 detention facility, markets, the Royal Palace, the National Museum, rice fields, Kampong Chhnang, Wat Hanchey, and produce markets. What a wonderful cultural experience!!! /susanClick a photo to view or click first photo to see a slide show.
