Warwoman Creek & Chattooga III, February 2, 2011

When we got to the Chattooga this cold Wednesday morning the rain had the Chattooga at a level of 3 feet which is very high. I took some pictures of Bull Sluice and decided on my line at this level but we decided to start near Clayton, Georgia on Warwoman Creek. This creek has several significant rapids at this level and joins the Chattooag at Earl's Ford for a run down Section III to Bull Sluice. By the time we got to Bull Sluice (almost 20 miles of river today) the level was down to 2.4ft and the lines weren't as clear. What a great paddling adventure!!! /hugh
