Tyger River, 3/10/2011
In prepartion for the April 2, 2011 Tame the Tyger Race, James Clinkscales, Scott Johnson & I joined Parks & Recreation officials Jenna Walker and Eric Davis for a high water run of the Tyger River. I was especially glad that I was shown the South Tyger River spot Susan Thomas Rapid which was a lot of fun. This was my first river hand paddling and it was good to be in my tiny All Star. I got in my firs hand paddle combat roll also. What a pleasant day! /hugh
