Doe Gorge, 3/2/2011

I had been wanting to paddle the Doe Gorge near Elizebethton, TN for a number of years. We went there after a big rain and ran 2 laps. It has perhaps the easiest shuttle of any creek we run. I joined Mike Simpson, Tim Gill, and Dan Thomas for a great afternoon. We scouted Body snatcher and I volunteered to try out the line we choose. We found a white goat along the river that Dan had seen years earlier. The level was 750to 800cfs and was a great level. Can't wait to come back guys! /hugh
