Lawson's Fork Creek at Flood, 1/7/09
When Lori & Trey were small we would come to Lawson's Fork Creek by the burned-down Glendale Mill in Glendale, SC to play in the creek and slide on the rocks. Once our golden retriver Sasafrass almost was swept over the falls about 300 yards below the dam. I always wondered what the falls would look like during a flood so it has been raining hard for 7 days & I came to find out. It was quite impressive so I put on my dry suit and set up the video camera and came down in my creek kayak. I made 2 runs and had a lot of fun. Now I know. Good video too! /hugh
