Upper Gauley R., 9/12/09
I had so much enjoyed the Upper Youghioheny River with John Kobak and his Keel-Hauler Canoe Club that I was excited about joining them on the Upper Gauley. John has paddled this river continously since 1973 and knows great places to go to get the most out of the river. Today we had Joe & Eric Marksz, Annelies & Bill Layton, Cliff, & Bill. We all had great runs and the weather was wonderful. Can't wait till tomorrow on the Upper Gauley. /hugh
