Lower Gauley, 9/11/09
Dan has to work so much lately that I seldom get to paddle with him anymore. It was great to meed he & Mike Friday morning at the takeout of the Lower Gauley River. I had pulled in late and slept in my truck and awoke to find Dan ready to cook breakfast. We had a great run. It was Dan's first time to hand paddle this river and he did great. Good weather, warm water, and huge waves. What an excellent combination. /hugh
