Big Snow, 3/2/09
Susan & I were called in Louisville, KY yesterday that we might want to head home before the weather in Spartanburg got too bad. About Gatlinburg, TN on I-40 things got bad and by Spartanburg County we were going 20mph. We had taken the Chevy truck to Louisville when Hudson had been born because of the biggest ice storm in Kentucky history but this time we were stuck in the VW Jetta TDI which did admirably. All of my Monday surgery patients were able to get to the hospital so I stayed busy at work while Susan was at home with no electricity. We lost several trees but got back power after 2 days in the dark. When will Spring be here?! /hugh
