Upper Green River 12/21/2008
I was excited to go paddling today. Scott Johnson and I have been trying to get together to paddle for a couple years and finally found the date that we could paddle together. I have lived close to the upper Green River run for the past 30 years but had never been able to paddle it. I had heard about Bayless Boof for 10 years and wanted to see it and try my skills. We were joined by Craik, Fred, and James. I had raced against James Clinkscales for years on the Tyger River and it would be enjoyable to do some playboating with him. I decided to carry my Jackson All-Star the cause it would be the lightest kayak to carry out up the hill. We had a great day and were off the river early. /hugh
