New VW, Florida Trip, 11/1/08
Our new VW Jetta Sprotwagon TDI arrived just in time for our annual trip to Venice, Florida. The diesel has an amazingly-desirable power band and gets great mileage (rated 30 city & 40 hwy but we've gotten 53 on some trips). We took our bikes as usual and rode every day. The waterway trails are now finished and are great places to ride. We went to a classic car museum. This late in the year I didn't SCUBA dive any though. We did a lot of our Christmas shopping and ate out every night. /hugh
