Olympic Whitewater Trials, 4/08
Susan & I had planned to spend most of this week at the US National Whitewater Center in Charlotte to see the Western Hemisphere trials for the Olympics. All Western Hemisphere countries picked their teams. We saw EJ and Emily Jackson try out and in C2 we rooted for Ben & Mark. The course was brutal, the announcing excellent, the view surprisingly good, and the weather finally Springtime. A great day. /hugh
