Myrtle Beach With Miriam & Jim, 2/8/08
I had a long weekend and so Susan & I accepted an invitation to journey to Myrtle Beach,SC with Miriam & Jim Clark, our good friends. We always sit with Miriam & Jim at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Last Sunday Jim asked us to go with them & I jumped at the chance. We first went to Nibbles to eat seafood. The we rode around. Susan & I had not been to this part of the state since the mid 80's so we were surprised with the changes. That night we ate at Tripp's and went to the Carolina Opry for the Good Vibrations show which is a look back at 60's, 70's, & 80's music. We absolutely loved the preformance. Saturday we went for a long walk on the beach, then visited a huge flea market, then a visit to Broadway At The Beach to shop & eat at The Crab House. What a great trip! When are we going back? /hugh
