Lower Santeelah Creek, 3/15/08

What a great day! We had a great whitewater kayak run on the Cheoah and heavy rains came allowing for a late pm run down the Lower Santeelah River. It was a real creaking experience as the river was blocked by trees in several areas. Terran led us down and sometimes sent Rob to see if the way was clear. Because of the droughts of recent years, this was a rare treat. Craik Davis put us all up for the night in his lake house. Andrew accompanied Susan & I all weekend. Great run guys! Tomorrow we will paddle the Tellico!! I can't wait. /hugh
