Visit with Charlie Warner in West Point 1/11/07
I couldn't wait to take the new Prism of Sound CD's to Charlie Warner who was about my best friend at West Point High School. We had a great rock band called the Prism of Sound and I found a reel-to-reel tape with additional songs that I didn't know existed. I had ripped them to CD's and I also took him my reel-to-reel recorder as I was finished with it. He is a teacher and his wife Kim is a middle school principal. They have a bluegrass band called the Tree Frogs and I enjoyed the copy of their first CD Charlie gave me. We stayed up late talking & when they left to go to school I went & spent the morning with my very good friend Mr. Bill Gilbert who had been my Junior Achievement advisor, and also was involved with me in founding Singout Valley in 1967. Mr. Gilbert has traveled extensively in Hungary the last few years with friends. So great to see old friends doing well.
