Big Laural Creek Hike, 12/7/07

My best whitewater paddling buddy Dan Thomas had scouted Big Laurel Creek near Hot Springs, North Carolina hoping that the drought would allow us to paddle it. The water has stayed low but he told us about a great hike along the southern shore for scouting. We had a lovely walk as the weather has stayed unusually mild so far this year. Then we made a terrific find for dinner. We wholeheartedly recommend the Bridge Street Cafe & Inn downtown Hot Springs. Can't wait for some whitewater action with Dan on Big Laurel!
