Thomas Trammell Grave Marker Dedication, 9/1/07
The family met at Antioch United Methodist Church in Thomaston, Ga. as the Sons of the American Revolution dedicated the marker of burial of Pvt.Thomas Trammell, Capt. Hughes Co, Col. Roebuck's Regiment, South Carolina Line. Hugh Barrow Sr. organized this solmn event and is joined by his family. Hugh Sr. (Bill) gave a biography of Thomas Trammell and Ann Barrow Harris recounted an interesting story entitled Mary Trammell & the Tory . There was a bagpiper and an honor guard. Dignitaries from the Sons of the American Revolution and the Daughters of the American Revolution were present. What a wonderful tribute you arranged Bill!!! You arranged donations of $1200 to the church as well as the monument!
