US Natl Whitewater Center with Lori, 7/3/07

What a great week I have planned. Lori flew in last night from California where she lives with her husband Ron and works at Mt. Hermon Christian Conference Center. We will paddle the Cheoah River on Satruday with the people who were on our Nanthala Outdoor Center Adventrue Travel Trip to Costa Rica last November so we need to get Lori familiar with the boats I have for her here in the Carolinas. It is Tuesday and we took Lori's Jackson Star and Dagger Mamba and both her straight and crankshaft paddles. We always paddle our smallest boats first and Lori jumped in to surf the very first hole we came to. Even doing loops!!! After playboating a few hours we went to our creek boats that we would paddle on the Cheoah and attacked the competition channel with great success. It was a warm beautiful day and we had a great time. Which boat will you paddle on the Nolichucky R. tomorrow Lori?
