Visiting the Mayan Ruins of Tulum 12/30/06

We got up early to catch the 7am boat to Playa del Carmen on the Yucatan mainland to catch a bus to the ancient Mayan city of Tulum. The Mexican authorities have really made a great toursist attraction there that was extremely tourist-friendly. We had visited in 1988 and it basically was a grass parking lot with a walled city next to it. Now it is a well-kept & partially restored first class site to visit. The weather was great. While waiting for the boat back to Cozumel Lori & Ron swam at Playa del Carmen. What a great day!!! /hugh
