9/16/06 US National Whitewater Center

One of my favorite places is the National Whitewater Center near Charlotte. It is about 50 miles from my house and is a challenging course that also is good cardiovascular exercise. It cost $15 for 1.5 hrs or $25 for all day. You change jersey colors at each 1.5 hr interval. At the end of the run you paddle onto an escelator for the ride to the top pool to start over. It was good training for my November Costa Rica trip with Lori. On this date Susan photographed Dan & I on our runs. / Hugh
