Doe River Paddling 4/8/06

Dan & I went to Elizabethton, Tenn to paddle the Doe River in the rain with Wesley & his friends. We gathered at Wesley's house and left some cars at the Covered Bridge downtown. Then we geared up and launched at the high school. After Wesley & I seal launched we went over one ledge after another. Then we toured the Doe River Gorge Christian Conference Center and hiked up the river to see more adventurous paddlers on hairy class 4 rapids like escelator. What a great winter paddle guys! /hugh
