South Carolina State Museum, Columbia 2/26/06

Today after church Susan & I drove to Columbia to antique shop and visit the South Carolina State Museum. I especially liked the exhibits on textiles in our area and early broadcasting in the state. Susan liked the early costumes and women's dresses. We saw the Best Friend of Charleston, the first successful commercial steam engine in the nation. We had a great day shopping & buying antiques. Can't wait to go back. I called Bill as I would like to take him for the Civil War exhibits. /hugh
