Tyger River With Dr. Jerome Aya-Ay, 9/21/2005

Again I have the joy of introducing someone to one of my favorite places in the world, the beautiful Tyger River in Spartanburg County. We have had very little rain and the river was very low but still good enough for some excitement. Jerome Aya-Ay MD is one of our illustrious second year family medicine residents at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Jerome and I have already had adventures together on Obstetrics in his first year of residency. He has practiced the eskimo roll in my lake and then practiced in his pool. The rapids certainly flipped him many times but he was always able to roll back up, a feat most paddlers can't boast! We had a great day on the river and now hope for rain and higher water.
