The Green River at "Two Plumes" 4/7/03

I was on call over the weekend and had Monday afternoon off. I was tired but when I learned that the Green River was running "two plumes" instead of the usual one, I just had to go. It didn't deter me that it was 41 degrees and misty either. I wasn't disappointed. The river certainly was different with so much water! What a great day. You can check water levels and operating schedules for Tuxedo Hydro Station that feed the Green River by calling 1-800-829-5253. It takes five hours for water to get from the dam to the put in./Hugh

There was a surfing wave between the rocks today.

Because of the rains, there were waterfalls all along the river.
