Susan's Story, India & Nepal, 2000

Our first visit to Nepal and I hope it won't be our last. Here we visited Buddhist temples, saw monkeys, The Temple House of the Kumari, Tibetan Bazaar, the 5 storied Bhupartindra Mall and the huge Buddhist Stupa. We went to a cremation ground and saw multiple fires. We went to some very colorful markets and bought pashminas. On the second day we boarded a small plane and closely circled the peak of Mt Everest. /susan
